OUR HISTORY

Lalchand Milapchand Dadha Secondary School founded under the auspices of Dadha & Co Golden Jubilee Trust, was started to perpetuate the memory of Late Shri. Lalchand Dadha and his illustrious son Late Shri. Milapchand Dadha both of whom were noted for their moral rectitude, dynamic personality and Philanthropic disposition.

The School started in 1977, is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi and has classes from Pre KG to Std XII. Co-Educational in character the school covers an area of approximately 1 acre.

The School imparts both academic and non-academic education to give an all round development to the students. It offers the children excellent training in leadership through civic, social and moral responsibilities. It also gives excellent encouragement to development skills and personality and specification through suitable creative work. An ethical, spiritual and cultural attitude conducive to national unity is developed. The well designed and furnished rooms, the well equipped Labs and Library facilities and vast play ground add to the congenial atmosphere.

As per the directions of the Central Board of Secondary Education, the school had introduced grading system and implemented Continuous & Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) for classes I to V std. Refer CBSE Website - www.cbse.nic.nin

Special features:

Interact Club : As each individual is imbibed with inborn potentials, interact club instills them confidence, courage and concrete qualities to come upon to the stage of competitions and contests courageously.

Karuna club :

Generosity, kindness, charity, compassion are some of the basic qualities for a peaceful and tranquil life. As our institution was founded basically to insist such of these human values Karuna club through various competitions, activities and projects bring out the importance of vegetarianism and qualities of of karuna to the limelight.

Sports:

We have well built ground for games such as basketball, volleyball, tennicoit, cricket. We also encourage students in indoor games such as Carrom, Chess and Table Tennis. Many students have participated in CBSE Cluster level sports. Many students have won prizes at inter school games such as Hand ball, volley ball, T.T, Carrom, Basket ball tournaments conducted by CBSE Cluster level sports.

Education through technology:

Audiovisual classes have been started to set a stage for our students to equip themselves for updated technology. As communicative skills are demanded in global market, special Spoken English classes along with cassette presentation are organized every week.

Smart class facility has been introduced in the academic year 2012-13 for Std.I to X. Smart classes are interactive class rooms which are completely technology enabled. This new technology makes learning more interesting, rewarding and provides fulfilling experience to the learners. It will provide multiple teaching system, learning with the help of educational aides viz. ,videos, technology applications, manipulations, measuring instruments and the like.

Yoga:

This world of competition needs balance of mind and determination to tackle. To stimulate and mould the young minds towards the synchronization of body and mind, compulsory yoga classes are arranged.

Religion is the generating power, which brings peace to others, and peace to one’s oneself and brings harmony to the surrounding. Bhajans on every Friday, Bhagawad Gita classes and sloka recitations help to enlighten spiritual thoughts and moral power of the students. As a part of Mahavir Jeyanthi Celebrations every year we conduct variety of programmes to give an insight into the life and the teachings of the Great Saint Mahavir.

Our students are motivated and encouraged to take part in inter school competitions and many students who were introvert were kindled by the spark of exploration came up with many prizes. As a jain institution, being given concessions in their fees encourages jain students.

A healthy mind and healthy body go with each other. As our institution is managed by jain it is against entertaining students from bringing non.vegetarian items (including egg) during lunch or snacks.

Our school provides congenial atmosphere, healthy surrounding and energetic mind to our students to make them prosperous and bright.

EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITY CLASSES:

Apart from the curriculum, classes for extra-curricular activities viz. handwriting, spoken English, drawing, taekwondo ( a form of martial arts) yoga, first aid, classical dance, karate, etc are being organized as applicable to different classes.
